How can I add Advertisors and Banners to my site?There are two steps for adding banner ads to your site, creating the Client and uploading the Banner.
From the Components menu select Banners and then Manage Clients. Click on New to add a new client and enter all their info. Clients can have more than one banner advertisement, and the advantage of defining mulitple clients is so you'll be able to differentiate which banner belongs to whom, and how suggesful they are. Once you've finished defining all your Clients, select Manage Banners. To upload banners to your site, click on the Upload button, and you can then upload the images one by one. Once you are done uploading the images, click on New to configure each banner. This will allow you to define custom information for each banner, such as the Banner Name, Client Name, Click URL or even custom click Code (for Advanced Users). You can even specify the number of impressions your client has purchased from you. Once those impressions are used up, the banner will no longer be served on your site. |
